The show was held on a bright summers day at the West Street greenhouses. This was the 5th Allotment Show that the Town Council has run. The show has been improving year after year and this year saw a bumper entry.We had 23 exhibitors putting up 147 exhibits and this compares to 2007 of 11 exhibitors putting up 79 exhibits.This is the list of exhibitors and the sites they represent.

After prize giving a BBQ was held and was enjoyed by the people who took part.
Cup winners were Mr Richard Pullen for his collection of vegetables, Mr Dave Greenfield for the Best Exhibit which was for his French Beans, Mr Gerard Nicholson for Most Points in the Show
