It was the first allotment show that myself and Dave have attended and we weren’t dissapointed. It was great to see the vegetables, flowers and other items (including alien vegetables) which had been awarded prizes.

In response to some recent rat sightings on West Street the following information has been sent in by a fellow allotment holder. It appears that there is an abundance of rats (the brown rat) on most allotments. It is said that a rat is rarely more than a couple of meters away.
